ISS Switzerland has been awarded the Platinum medal in EcoVadis’s renowned sustainability rating. This places ISS Switzerland amongst the top one per cent of all 47,000 companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide over the last twelve months.
ISS Switzerland’s strong and forward-looking commitment to sustainability has once again been recognized with a Platinum medal from EcoVadis, a leading independent platform for sustainability assessments. SBTi Validation as an Integral Component
Complementing this success, the validation of our short-term emissions reduction targets by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) underscores ISS Switzerland’s leading role in sustainability and climate action. The SBTi validation confirms ISS Switzerland’s commitment to setting decarbonization targets in line with the latest scientific findings and the principles of the Paris Agreement.
Current Sustainability Measures and Customer Services
ISS Switzerland has set a climate target of net-zero CO₂ emissions by 2030 from its direct business operations (Scope 1 & 2); and by 2040, this target will also apply to all other indirect emissions (Scope 3) that fall outside ISS’s sphere of influence but impact the value chain. In its efforts to achieve sustainability goals both internally and for its customers, ISS Switzerland has taken decisive steps. By converting its vehicle fleet to electric power and implementing standards for sustainable supply chains, the company is carrying out further initiatives and programs to reduce CO₂ emissions and promote the circular economy, recycling, and reuse. The internal Green Office program also supports ISS Switzerland’s sustainability efforts.
Customers can choose from a wide range of climate-friendly and environmentally sustainable services for decarbonizing buildings and reducing resource consumption through circular economy services and sustainable facility management. Furthermore, ISS Switzerland actively promotes biodiversity through nature-based maintenance of green spaces. These initiatives underscore ISS Switzerland’s ongoing commitment to acting in accordance with principles of environmental and social responsibility.
Outlook for the Future and Continuous Improvement
With the goal of solidifying its position as a leading company in sustainable facility management, ISS Switzerland is committed to continuous improvement. Certifications under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 demonstrate its commitment to quality, environmental protection, and occupational safety. ISS Switzerland plans to further optimize operational processes, reduce resource consumption, and continuously improve its sustainability performance through the use of innovative technologies such as IoT, predictive analytics, and new carbon footprint software.
