About Markus Sontheimer
Markus Sontheimer has been Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO) at the ISS Group since June 2021 and is responsible for the Group’s global IT and digital strategy. Before joining ISS, Markus Sontheimer, an industrial engineer, held various leadership positions, including CIO at Schenker AG in Essen and at Deutsche Bank. A native of Friedrichshafen, he has also been honored multiple times with top awards in Germany’s “CIO of the Year” competition for his achievements. Most recently, he and his team received the “Transformation of Global Work Award” for the Global Workplace Management project.
